Dr. Ian Congdon, D.C.
Chiropractic Physician
Do you hurt? Do you have back, neck or hip pain? Headaches? Seattle has a million and one wellness practitioners. Maybe you’ve tried acupuncture, massage, ayurvedic, and found that they help but they just don’t ‘fix’ it. Most people will find that one of the complementary medicine fields fits them, for some they can get a million massages, but the first time they get acupuncture, they know they’ve found what’s right for them. Similarly, with Chiropractic.
Maybe you’ve tried other disciplines, or maybe you’re a former Chiropractic patient, who hasn’t been able to find affordable care? Maybe you went to a Chiropractor and were hard sold on getting on a pre-paid plan. That’s not how I operate. I’ve worked at Microsoft, killing myself at a desk all day, I’ve done construction and carpentry, I’ve spent years on my feet waiting tables, and I’ve spent 80+ days a year riding at Alpental, so I know what it’s like to feel like my body is a wreck, and wishing I could have somebody dial me in.
My goal is to educate and motivate my patients - to help them stay out of pain, and regain function. Whether that means playing soccer, being able to pick up your children or grandchildren, or being able to sit comfortably long enough that you can go see a movie, my goal is to restore the function you deserve. After more than 10 years in practice, building relationships and helping my patient with their health continues to be my number one priority. My practice philosophy is based on biomechanics, orthopedics, and function, and is first and foremost patient centered.
I know it can be tough to make the time to take care of important things, including our health, so I always try to have at least a couple late evening hours a week, and work on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, so you don't have to choose between getting your work done during the week, and being able to enjoy your weekend without pain.
